Manchester Office team just before a match against the Birmingham Office

Pictured here on the roof of the Head Post Office building in  Manchester are Manchester office staff taking part in a film I made in  1974 entitled The Song of Salford, a send-up of The Sound of Music. Two of them also appear in the photo of the office football team on your page, and the team captain (Jim Duff) was also a Captain (von Trapp) in  my film!

This photo was supplied by John Jenkins who was an OTO1 at the Manchester office
